Key Milestones
- 2007.05.18 Stock market asset flew pass China's bank deposit for the first time. The combined market value of A-share traded on China's two bourses in Shanghai and Shenzhen for the first time hit a record 17.43 trillion yuan (2.23 trillion US), said a report by China Securities News. On the other hand, China's savings deposits, which shrank by 167.4 billion yuan in April 2007 to 17.37 trillion RMB.
