Suntech Power Holdings
Suntech Power Holdings is the largest solar power company in China, and one of the largest in the world. The company makes and sells a variety of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules. Suntech Power's headquarter is located in the city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, China. They also have a new R&D center near Shanghai. Suntech Power bought MSK Corporation in Japan to set it up as its Japanese subsidiary.
How To Invest
Suntech Power Holdings has traded on the NYSE using ticker STP since its IPO in December 2005. Being a leader in the red-hot alternative energy market and located in low labor cost China, STP has enjoyed a very nice appreciation since its IPO.
